The client desired a garden based around both his work and family life. The office needed to be in keeping with the aesthetics of his house and big enough to accommodate their work needs. They did not want to compromise the size of the garden as they have a young family who enjoyed the outside space.
Being mindful of the size of the garden and the needs of the client in terms of office-space, this garden manages to balance both work, play and aesthetics. The client works form home all year round so colour, and foliage was important. Evergreen perennials, ornamental grasses and evergreen shrubs support this desire for texture and colour, whilst the contemporary patio and sizeable lawn offer both room to socialise and play.
