Barnet Primary School

The client required a sustainable wildlife garden in an otherwise derelict piece of land set within the school’s footprint.

The Wildlife Garden would be used as an alternative to the traditional classroom environment, allowing for classes to learn in nature. Multiple outside teaching spaces with full disabled access, surrounded by wildflower makes this a safe and nurturing environment for children and teachers. The nature pond acts as a magnet for wildlife, whilst multiple raised vegetable beds for growing allow students to feel invested in the process of growing and nurturing food.

This project was delivered in conjunction with Cromer Road Primary School and Barnet Council.
